Frequently Asked Questions

In order to attain a Real Estate Sales Agent license in the state of Florida, you must complete the educational requirements set forth by the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC), file an application for licensure with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and pass the state exam. The current pre-licensing education requirement for sales is an equivalent of 63 classroom hours.

The sales course is 63 hours. The broker course is 72 hours.

Post-licensing is 45 hours for sales and 60 hours for broker.

Continuing education after the first sales or broker cycle is 14 hours.

We currently do not accept payment plans but do accept all major credit cards.

Once you finish the initial pre-licensing class, you should interview with 4-5 brokers to see what business style will work for you. This is not a traditional interview as virtually every broker will want to “hire” you. You should be interviewing the broker/brokerage and “hiring” them if you choose to work at a particular brokerage.

You can schedule your state exam once you receive you candidate id # from the FREC and pass the 63 hour pre-licensing course and receive your pass certificate.

Additionally, you should take your state exam as soon as possible after completing the initial sales licensure course.

Our classes are designed around real-life experiences of our instructors. This is paired with an introduction to industry professionals who are experts in the fields of mortgage, title, inspections, new/existing construction, and brokerage operations. This added element gives you the best pathway to success not only for the exam, but also to prep you for everyday practice.

All inclusive of your courses, fingerprinting, application, testing, and joining your local board (association)/MLS is approximately $1500-$1800 You can expect to double your investment upon completion of your first sale.

Any student is welcome to sit in additional classes for free up to 2 years after their initial course (assuming the class is not full) Each class will have a 4 hour cram session at the end of the regular class period.
